Ingredients:
1 cup cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
5 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp butter, melted and cooled
Syrup:
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 eggyolks
1/2 ground almonds
1/4 cup butter
Cooking Procedure:
1. Preheat oven at 350F. Prepare a 13×9in rectangular pan.
2. In a bowl, sift the flour with the baking powder.
3. Beat the eggs in high speed until it thickens. ( You can use electric mixer, if you have.)
4. Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until thick.
5. Fold in the flour mixture and melted butter.
6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 -25 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
7. Cool then cut into bars.
To Prepare Syrup:
1. Boil the sugar and water together until thread-like.
2. Beat eggyolks until light then add the hot syrup.Beat until smooth and fluffy.
4. Add the nuts and butter, and cook until thick.
5. Pour over the cake bars while warm.
